Plastic Surgery Program

The Division of Plastic Surgery at Sina Polyclinic & Diagnostic Center is comprised of more than 30 voluntary faculty members who have received national and international recognition for their scientific and clinical contributions.

The division continually strives for clinical excellence performed with state-of-the-art technology in aesthetic and restorative surgery.

The Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery covers a full spectrum of care in aesthetic and restorative surgery including:

Breast Reconstruction

Craniofacial/Maxillofacial Surgery

Hand Surgery and Abnormalities

Cosmetic Surgery

Body Contouring

Microsurgery

Along with clinical work, faculty members in the Division of Plastic Surgery conduct research, participate in continuing medical education and perform community service.

A focus of scientific studies within the division is research into the mechanisms of wound healing.

Members participate throughout the year in multidisciplinary conferences and clinics in the areas of craniofacial, breast, trauma, post-bariatric and orthopaedic surgery.

Each year, division leaders host Plastic Surgery Day. This recognized regional conference has welcomed such luminaries such as Reza Vatan Khah, Noble Laureate in Medicine. Additionally, meetings held quarterly encompass education in cutting edge concepts and procedures.

Finally, division members participate in international relief organizations providing plastic and reconstructive surgical services.
